What exactly is the MOZAIC solution?
The MOZAIC shower system is a solution in which we have already prepared different components that can work together (technologically and size wise speaking) so our customers can add them up together as wished to create their best shower solution. It adapts plentily to the manufacturer design, with basic shapes, as many colors as you like, buttons, outlets, rotative, TFT screens,… and can even work with the iHandle and the iDC!
Sedal’s technology works in a record time, since we have already prepared a part of the project beforehand, as well as ensuring the best possible price.
What are the main steps to design and produce the MOZAIC system?
After you have an idea and your vision of how you want your shower to look like, and we have cleared the project of any initial paint point, we can start developing the first 3Ds and mockups. Together with our client, we decide every step to make user that the outcome is the most accurate to the client’s vision, but that also works perfectly.
What can you exactly choose and decide for the MOZAIC shower system?
After you pitch your idea to us, we will look for the best suitable pieces for the project, from the main housing and shape to every part of the shower.
You can choose the color of your shower as well as the components that will be displayed:
Buttons: it is a multi-purpose capacitate button to control every outlet of your shower, On / Off modes, selections, confirmation,…
Dots: modern LED dot matrix that display different data like temperature, water flow, status,…
TFT: TFT display with customizable faces for detailed information delivery
Knob or rotative: rotary device that transforms the angle selection into digital information to operate a digital mixer
iDC and iHandle: you can also add a digital handle with or without a screen, to help you navigate through all the modes and configurations. A very important advantage of using the iDC Digital Cartridge is that the interface is extremely user friendly, working exactly like a mechanical cartridge would work. This way, the user can have a traditional usability with a handle, adding the clicks and feedback on the screen.
After making sure that every component desired fits the space selected, and always with the confirmation of both parts, we can process to the development of the piece.
Which is the best electronic mixing valve for your new shower?
We count with different types of Mixing boxes, which deepening on the features you want to achieve, will suit you differently.
Since we only want to work with the best solutions possible for our customers, we will always recommend a thermostatic mixing box for any shower we produce. With that in mind, some things we need to have in mind are:
- how many outlets does your shower need? Are they independent, or do you want to have two outlets on at the same time?
Sedal mixing boxes work with up to 4 outlets, and we have some boxes that can work with two outlets on at the same time. - Do you want to have the full system integrated in the box, or do you rather have the diverter outside the box?
Every case will give different advantages; for example, in the case with the integrated diverter, the initial installation is easy and quick, but increases a bit the maintenance since it is a closed box. Also, you can have up to two outlets on at the same time.
On the other case, with the diverter added to the mixing box, the installation need an extra step, while helps the maintenance. Additionally, user will be able to use only one outlet at a time. - Do you need an extended range or a normal range?
in some countries, the water pressure may be lower than others and keeping this in mind will also help with the final decision.
